CIA Model of Worry Reduction

A saying that no doubt you've heard a good deal in operation, in sports, and human performance in general is managing the controllable. What does that actually mean? I wanted to consider this concept of governing the controllable, which can be actually really good advice mind you, and take it out of the arena of as a cliché and in the an entire world of something that we are able to actually do.

Accept

Stop looking to control items that you've got no treatments for. Amazing in my experience the amount energy people waste wanting to control stuff that they maybe have influence over, but in many cases should just accept. I'll also say that when it comes to items that you have zero influence over, I wouldn't spend long talking or complaining about them. It's just a drain on your energy. Are you catching yourself looking to control items that you should just accept? Notice that, and I would change your mind on that.
When you realize that this only thing you have total control over is your decisions, assume responsibilty to the decision-making process. I'm not saying to blame yourself when things prove poorly. I am saying it takes responsibility to the decision which you make. That's when you begin manipulating the controllables and seeing the results that you really are interested in.
I don't play a whole lot of poker, but one thing that I be familiar with is the fact that winning at cards, specifically poker, carries a small amount regarding them that you simply are dealt, and it carries a huge amount regarding the way you make decisions and play them that you simply're dealt. Same thing costs your life. Life truly is ten percent what are the results to us and 90 percent the method that you react.
